About Leeaky

Leeaky started from a simple annoyance: it is easy to spend a whole trip losing small amounts of money to things that are completely avoidable. A card that charges a foreign transaction fee. A hotel that quietly bills you in your home currency instead of the local one. An airport currency exchange kiosk with a rate nowhere near the real one. None of it is a huge amount on its own, but it adds up, and it is easy to miss.

The goal is small on purpose: log what you spend, and let a simple set of rules flag the patterns that usually mean you are paying more than you need to. No linked bank accounts, no budgeting philosophy, no subscription.

Right now, the app runs in your browser, with no account system and no backend database. Scanning a receipt is the one thing that sends anything off your device: the photo goes through a Leeaky server to OpenAI so it can be read. Leeaky does not persist it; OpenAI’s API retention terms may still apply. Leeaky will not sell your data or use your spending to build an advertising profile.
